This is the next piece in the little series I've been working on. There are two previous paintings in which a character climbs up a mountainside path and finds a gate that leads into a palace inside the mountain. In this piece the character has entered the gate and wandered inside the palace. He finds himself in front of a mysterious door.

Finished. Added the chains to bring more depth and detail.
WIP 1 - An early stage. Main shapes pretty much there. Still very blank and uninteresting.
WIP 2 - It's starting to get more of an edge to it.
